Hi Short Trackers,

Do you know of local short track events coming up in your region?

Do they cater for master skaters?

If they do, feel free to leave the details here, and I'll also post them up on the 'Upcoming Events' listing on World Masters Short Track.

Cheers
Frank

Hi Lars,

Sorry that I have not replied for so long but i have been overseas, busy with work, training and a broken computer.

After meeting with Dr. Volker Serini of the IMSSG in Berlin and Inzell, we had discussions about nominating one event for 2009/2010 as a Masters Short Track Event and the Opening or Closing Games was suggested.

I am hoping to make one or both of those next season and hopefully bring some Aussies along too.

I would interested in your views about the viability of doing this next season. Can you email me? Please go onto the www.worldmastersshorttrack.com site and my contact email is at the bottom of the sidebar.

I would love it if you gave a wrap up of the recent Closing Games as well?

regards
Frank Anderson

A couple of dates for the diary:

This may be cancelled
Sat 26 September 2009, Dundee Open - Dundee, Scotland

Sat 17 October 2009, Scottish Open, Dumfries, Scotland

http://www.ayrshire-flyers.org.uk/Events.htm

They are described as "All Categories" but I don't know if they include Masters in that.

cheers

Alison
